This Video Game Adaptation Is The Top Show On Netflix Right Now

“Arcane: League of Legends” is currently the most popular show on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

The adult animated action series returned for a second and final season on Nov. 9, about three years after the first season premiered. It’s an adaptation of the “League of Legends” video game with a focus on the characters Vi and Jinx.

“Arcane” features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, Kevin Alejandro, Katie Leung, Toks Olagundoye and Harry Lloyd.

“Feuds Turned Fatal”

One of the most popular shows on Max at the moment is the true crime series “Feuds Turned Fatal.”

As the title suggests, the Investigation Discovery show explores stories of revenge and retaliation when friendships turn into feuds and escalate to the point of murder.

“Rivals”

The British comedy “Rivals” premiered on Disney+ on Oct. 18. Based on Jilly Cooper’s 1988 novel, the show follows two powerful men with a longstanding rivalry in 1980s England.

The cast includes Alex Hassell, David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Victoria Smurfit, Bella MacLean and Nafessa Williams.

“Abbott Elementary”

“Abbott Elementary” is currently trending on Hulu. Created by Quinta Brunson, the ABC mockumentary sitcom revolves around teachers at a Philadelphia public school and features an ensemble cast including Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

The fourth season premiered on Oct. 9, with new episodes to be released every Wednesday until Jan. 1.

“Star Trek: Lower Decks”

Another adult animated show is trending on Paramount+. The sci-fi series “Star Trek: Lower Decks” returned for its fifth and final season on Oct. 24 and will conclude on Dec. 19.

Set on an unimportant starship in the “Star Trek” universe, the show centers around low-ranking officers traveling the galaxy. Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, and Eugene Cordero voice the main characters.
