Vanessa Hudgens reps her boho style in maternity looks with white crochet

A number of our favourite celebrities are currently pregnant or recently welcomed bundles of joy, meaning there has never been more inspo for chic and stylish maternity wear. Music to the ears of mamas-to-be everywhere. And the main lesson we're taking away from how expectant A-listers are dressing? You don't have to sacrifice your pre-maternity style for stretchy waistbands and nursing bras.

Take Suki Waterhouse who welcomed her first child with Robert Pattinson in March. The actress and singer maintained her '70s fashion style throughout her pregnancy and wowed on the red carpet in the most amazing cut-out red dress that perfectly highlighted her baby bump. Similarly, Ciara in her penchant for glamour accessorised her baby bump with gold glitter while Sofia Richie has continued to rep quiet luxury.

And Vanessa Hudgens, AKA Coachella queen and poster girl for the boho aesthetic, is staying true to her signature vibe, as illustrated in her latest IG post.

She shared a carousel of images of herself wearing a white crochet maxi dress that featured a flattering scallop neckline and hem. The figure-hugging design, Spell's Lou Lou Knit Gown, perfectly highlighted her growing bump. Vanessa completed her outfit with brown sandals, layered boho jewellery and the Kurt Geiger Mini Denim Kensington Bag.

Vanessa styled her hair into a messy updo with two face-framing strands left loose. As for her beauty look, she opted for a small cat-eye eyeliner flick and a dark berry lip. Her followers took to the comments section to gush over her look, writing:

What beautiful mama to be so excited to meet the new wildcat
Motherhood is looking incredible on you.
Mamas glowing 😍😍
The prettiest mama to be
Looking beautiful mama ! 😍
OUR MOM ERA IS ALMOST HEREEEE

Of course, we can't talk about maternity dressing without acknowledging Rihanna. The singer led the way with her first pregnancy, changing the rules around traditional maternity style by continuing to wear her usual risqué attire. We're talking bump-baring ensembles, cut-out catsuits, sheer sequin co-ords and more. Truly iconic.

For all the mamas-to-be, consider this your signal. Follow Rihanna and Vanessa's lead and stay true to your style DNA.
