Two Reality TV Legends and Winners Join 'The Traitors' in Surprise Twist
Big Brother is the reality TV show with the "expect the unexpected" slogan. But The Traitors seems to be stealing a few moves from the Big Brother playbook. And that's not the only thing that Peacock's Emmy-winning hit is swiping from the CBS staple. That's because during Episode 2 of The Traitors Season 3, a famed Big Brother winner joined the cast.

When The Traitors announced the Season 3 cast back in 2024, 21 players were on the roster. But apparently Peacock was saving two as a surprise: Big Brother's Derrick Lavasseur and The Challenge's Wes Bergmann. Both reality TV legends joined the game as Faithfuls during the mission in Episode 2 and were granted immunity for their first cycle of play. They joined alongside Survivor's Boston Rob Mariano, who was exiled in the first episode only to return in Episode 2.

Who is Derrick Levasseur?
Derrick is heralded as one of the best Big Brother players of all time, having won Season 16 of the show after maintaining tight control of the house for the entire season. He was in "The Hitmen" alliance with The Traitors Season 1 star, Cody Calafiore. This is his first appearance on a reality TV show since winning Big Brother.
Who is Wes Bergmann?
Wes has a much longer and more storied career, having debuted on The Real World: Austin back in 2005. Since then he's become a staple on The Challenge, competing in over 20 versions of the show and winning The Deal and All Stars 3. Most recently Wes appeared on House of Villains Season 2, where he finished second, going viral for begging on his knees in an ultimately losing pitch. Season 2 of The Traitors was won by two of Wes's former castmates, Christ "CT" Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella.
Adding Derrick and Wes to the cast of The Traitors, brought the full number of players up to 23, and while they were granted safety initially, either can now be a target for either murder or banishment. Considering the reputation for the two as gamers, it will be interesting to see if they'll be in it for the long haul, or targeted by the Traitors.
