You Can Twin Your Dog’s Outfit With the First K-Way x Palace Collab

It’s often said that humans and their pets end up sharing similar personality traits. Now K-Way and hip skate and streetwear brand Palace want them to share the same look, too.

Debuting their first collaboration hinged on K-Way’s signature Le Vrai Claude packable windbreaker, the two brands are offering the jacket in genderless iterations flanked by a dogwear version, Le Vrai Horatio jacket.

Crafted from deadstock in a patchwork pattern in two different chromatic combinations – a cool colored version dominated by turquoise and baby blue and a warm colored design with pops of orange and violet – the capsule collection is complemented by a foldable pet blanket, pet carrier bag as well as dog collar and leash in K-Way’s signature stripes.

The collection drops on Friday in the U.K., U.S. and Europe while it will be available in China and Japan starting Saturday. The jackets are priced at 250 euros for the human version and 120 euros for the dog style.

Palace, which late last year dropped a co-branded capsule with Oakley dabbling in the world of snowboarding for the first time, is a serial collaborator, having recently launched viral tie-ins with Vivienne Westwood, Rimowa, Gucci, Calvin Klein and Tour de France Femmes.

K-Way, which is marking its 60th anniversary this year, has forged links with several designer brands including Saint Laurent, Fendi and Comme des Garçons, to name a few, and introduced runway collections presented at its Milan BasicVillage, unveiled in 2022. The French premium outerwear brand was acquired by the Turin, Italy-based BasicNet, controlled by the Boglione family, in 2004. Last October, Permira Growth Opportunities II reached an agreement to buy a 40 percent stake in K-Way.
