TVLine Items: Emily in Paris Books More Alfie, Breaking Bad Reunion on Invincible and More
If you were craving more Alfie during the last season of Emily in Paris, we’ve got good news: His portrayer Lucien Laviscount will have a larger presence during the upcoming fifth season.
The actor will return to the Netflix comedy as a series regular after being downgraded to recurring last season due to scheduling reasons, our sister site Deadline reports. Laviscount was promoted to regular for Season 3, then only appeared in four episodes during Season 4, which ended with his character Alfie revealing to his ex Emily that he had a new girlfriend and him encouraging Gabriel to go after Emily.
More from TVLine
Following the season finale, showrunner Darren Star told TVLine, “Alfie’s part of our world, and he’s not going anywhere.”
