All the TV Shows That Had to Halt Production Due to the California Fires

“The LA County Fire Department has specifically instructed that all permits issued for filming in the communities of Altadena, La Crescenta, La Canada/Flintridge and unincorporated Pasadena are withdrawn," it was announced on FilmLA. "Other permit revocations are possible,"
At the same time, the Oscar nominations have been postponed. While originally scheduled to be unveiled on Jan. 17, the Academy has extended the nomination announcement to give more time for voters. In a letter from Chief Executive Bill Kramer, the voting deadline was extended until Jan. 14. The announcements of the nominees is now scheduled for Jan. 19.
Hacks star and recent Golden Globes winner Jean Smart is calling for the awards season to be cancelled altogether. The actor took to Instagram, saying "I hope any of the networks televising the upcoming awards will seriously consider NOT televising them and donating the revenue they would have garnered to victims of the fires and the firefighters." This is after Hacks, which also won a Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy Series, has delayed its production.

Jimmy Kimmel Live
Jimmy Kimmel cancelled the taping of it's show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, on Wednesday amid the natural disaster and aired a re-run. Guests for the show were scheduled to be Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Bryan Jordan Alvarez (English Teacher) and musical guest Victoria Canal. Thursday's show (with guest stars Timothée Chalamet and musical guest The Lumineers) was also cancelled.
After Midnight
CBS also cancelled tapings of one of its late night show, After Midnight. Host Taylor Tomlinson was scheduled to have Heather McMahan, Zach Noe Towers and reality star Lisa Rinna while Thursday's line-up was set to include Dustin Nickerson, Russell Howard and Aparna Nancherla.
Happy's Place (NBC)
The sitcom, starring Reba McIntyre, had to pause production.
Suits L.A. (NBC)
The spinoff, starring Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt, also shut down production.
Loot (Apple TV+)
The Maya Rudolph vehicle was forced to pause filming.
Ted (Peacock)
Production was halted on the Seth MacFarlane comedy.
