Truth is most definitely stranger than fiction in Anatomy of Lies, the three-part Peacock documentary series about the meteoric rise and shocking fall of Grey’s Anatomy executive producer/writer Elisabeth Finch.
If you’re unfamiliar with the disgraced power player’s story, the gist is this: For years, Finch told tall tales about how she survived a rare form of bone cancer, lost a kidney and even decided to have an abortion because of treatment. Only it was all BS, a fact that only came to light when Vanity Fair published an exposé in 2022, long after Finch had even managed to incorporate elements of “her” experience into Grey’s Anatomy episodes.
