Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle brought New Orleans jazz to Super Bowl 2025!

During the pre-game show for the 2025 Super Bowl, the trombone player (whose real name is Troy Andrews), 39, and the Christian music singer, 33, performed a jazzy rendition of “America the Beautiful."

Daigle wore an off-the-shoulder short blue and red plaid dress for the performance with red pumps as she and the trombone player stood next to each other on blue circle platforms. Andrew, meanwhile, wore black pants and a white shirt with a blue jacket.

The two harmonized on the chorus with Daigle singing solo on certain parts of the song while the trombone player accompanied her with his beloved instrument. The singer cheered and danced along to her partner's solo mid-song before ending the song with a long-held final note.

He has released five albums and toured with big names like Lenny Kravitz, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Foo Fighters. On top of that, the Grammy winner collaborated with Jon Batiste on his album We Are.

Daigle also hails from Louisiana, where she got her start auditioning for American Idol in 2010 and 2012. She has since won multiple Grammys and was the first female artist to reach the top 10 on Billboard’s pop and Christian album charts simultaneously.
