Trisha Yearwood Honors Husband Garth Brooks for Career Milestone
Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks are one of the most well-known power couples of country music and the pair just added another shared accolade to their list of accomplishments.
In March 2024, Trisha was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame. And on Thursday, September 5, Garth joined her.
“Dear Mr. Brooks, welcome to the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame! I’ve been keeping your seat warm for the better part of a year,” Trisha captioned a carousel of photos from the ceremony on Instagram. “Seriously, congratulations! Nobody deserves this more than you. @acltv understands what you’ve always believed…it’s about the music. I hope you felt all the love from that crowd last night…and from me. I love you so much!”
As proud as Trisha is of her hubby, Garth’s fans are equally as excited for his latest praise.
“Congratulations Garth! So deserving,” one fan commented on the carousel. “The very first time I saw Garth was at 11:00 at night on PBS Austin City Limits. I thought, "Wow! This guy is going to be something!" He's been blessed and is a blessing in return,” another fan wrote. “Best night ever!!! Y’all rocked it! Thank you for an incredible show,” someone else exclaimed.
Trisha and Garth have been married since December 2005. In that time, the pair has earned endless recognition for not only their shared adoration of country music but also their enduring love story. One scroll through either of their social feeds and it’s clear to see just how close, connected, and supportive they are of each other. May we all take a page out of their book!
