Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation have announced that they’re planning to hold their fifth annual Winter Wonderland Park Toy and Food Drive at Texas Southern University HBCU Campus on Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will mark the foundation’s first time bringing its Waymon Webster Scholarship Program to an HBCU. Thus far, the program has awarded over $1 million in scholarships to over 100 graduating seniors, and the Winter Wonderland will provide over 1,000 toys, produce and supplies to families in Houston.

“For the fifth consecutive year we have been able to honor our grandfather’s legacy with the Waymon Webster HBCU program,” says Jordan Webster, Scott’s sister and spokesperson for the Cactus Jack Foundation. “Our focus is empowering the next generation of HBCU leaders so that they may continue to aim high in their goals. To date we have awarded over $1 million dollars in scholarships and we are so excited to see what the future holds.”
Scott launched the Cactus Jack Foundation in Nov. 2020 to provide educational and creative resources for young adults in his native Houston. The Waymon Webster Foundation was established in the name of Scott’s grandfather, who attended HBCU Prairie View A&M University in Texas.
“Waymon Webster was a dean of the Prairie View A&M graduate school,” said Scott at the time. “My grandfather wanted me to take it all the way through college. I feel there is a power in education so to be able to give someone the opportunity to fulfill that dream as my papa thought for me is amazing.”
In July, Cactus Jack Foundation launched the Hurricane Beryl Relief Drive to provide emergency housing for Houston residents. He partnered with Houston Responds to launch an emergency hotel grant fund for those displaced from their homes, offering housing in nearby hotels. Additionally, those who attended were able to apply for housing grants.
