Travis Kelce's Co-Star Makes Honest Confession About 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?'

Travis Kelce's Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity castmate and comedian Natasha Leggero didn't hold back when discussing the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's skills as a game show host.

Leggero recently admitted that she wasn't all that sure the three-time Super Bowl champ would be cut out for his new duties as a TV quiz whiz on the new Amazon Prime Video series. In the same breath, though, she said that the NFL star–who previously flexed his small screen skills by hosting Saturday Night Live–really impressed her.

"We loved him. He was so cute and he was so prepared. He really blew me away because I did not have very high expectations... you could tell he took it really seriously and he killed it," Leggero told Newsweek in a piece published on Monday, Oct. 14.

It's been a big year for Kelce, who just celebrated his 35th birthday with a charity bash, made his acting debut with the Sept. 25 release of the FX horror series Grotesquerie and, before that, secured a massive deal for the New Heights podcast that he co-hosts with his older brother, Jason. Let's not forget to mention that the 2024 NFL season is shaping up pretty nicely for the Chiefs, who are currently 5-0 and hope to keep that trend going when they return to the field on Sunday, Oct. 20, for a matchup at Levi's Stadium against the San Francisco 49ers.

Along with the He's Just Not That Into You alum, other stars set to make an appearance on the streamer's new series and compete for the winning title (and $100,000 prize) include comedians Nikki Glaser, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches; Thursday Night Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick; former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco; Real Housewife of Beverly Hills’ Garcelle Beauvais; Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent; podcaster Sophia Stallone; and actress and producer Lilly Singh.

Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 16, only on Prime Video.
