Travis Kelce Jokes Around as He Reads Out Taylor Swift-Themed Clue on “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”
The NFL star couldn't help be smile when asked about friendship bracelets
Travis Kelce is a friendship bracelet expert.
In a preview of the Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? episode set to air on Wednesday, Jan. 29, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and TV show host, 35, asked his contestants an adorable Taylor Swift-coded math question.
“Nicole has 98 beads to make six friendship bracelets," Kelce says in the clip. "If each bracelet has an equal number of beads, what is the fewest number of leftover beads she can have?"
As his question garners laughs, comedian Nicole Byer jokes that it’s because she only has “six friends.”

However, Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent seems to think the audience is laughing for a different reason.
"Travis, do you know anyone who likes friendship bracelets and things like that?" the reality star, 34, asks as her competitors jot down their answers.
The NFL star slyly replied: "I know a few. Might have converted them into a Chiefs fan. I don't know. We'll see."
Kelce and the pop star, also 35, have been dating for more than a year since going public with their relationship in October 2023.
However, the three-time Super Bowl champion previously confessed that meeting the “Love Story” singer almost didn’t happen.
During a July 2023 episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast he co-hosts with his older brother Jason Kelce, Travis admitted he was “disappointed” after his plan to slip Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it didn’t work out.
"I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis told his brother, adding that he was "a little butt hurt."
"I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he continued.
Friendship bracelets had become a staple accessory during her Eras Tour — so much so that the New Orleans Superdome welcomed the Grammy winner with a giant friendship bracelet during a three-night concert run in October.
"If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Travis said during the podcast.
Luckily for the famous couple, it all worked out in the end.
On Sunday, Jan. 26, Swift was present as Travis and his teammates celebrated earning their third consecutive spot at the Super Bowl when the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game.
Cameramen even caught the pair telling each other “I love you.”
"It was an anxious game and the most incredible feeling that they won," a source told PEOPLE. "They had friends and family at the game last night. It all felt very special."

The insider added: "If there is anyone that knows that incredible feeling after you've been intensely focused on a goal, it's Taylor. They love their football family."
The Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on Feb. 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
