“The Traitors ”mayhem ensues at a chaotic and messy Roundtable
Feelings are hurt and egos are bruised.

The civil war between Traitors on The Traitors continued this week. Well, it didn’t just continue, but kicked into overdrive. The episode began with Carolyn Wiger telling her two fellow Traitors Danielle Reyes and Boston Rob Mariano, “There’s nobody I want to murder other than you two right now.” After being caught having put Carolyn’s name out there, Danielle promised, “I’ll make it right tomorrow. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I’ll make it right.”
But thankfully, things then only got messier. Continuing to hear that Danielle was undermining her, Carolyn proclaimed, “There is absolutely no way I want to play this game with somebody who is continuously throwing my name out. We’re done.” As if to eliminate any doubt, she informed viewers, “She cannot be trusted anymore and I’m ready to bring it to court. I’m not going to waste my time pretending to be nice. I would rather spend my time trying to get Danielle out.” And that is exactly what she did, attacking her enemy for creating chaos and voting for her as a Traitor.

Remarkably, that was not even the biggest battle at the Roundtable. After Derrick Levassuer came after Boston Rob, the Traitor turned the attention back onto Wes Bergmann. The two matched wits — and, in Boston Rob’s case, lies — but Wes made a massive miscalculation when he issued a threat to anyone who voted against him. “I appreciate you guys for not voting for me,” he told the group. “The one or two people that make that mistake, I’ve got my eye on you.” The other competitors did not react well to that in the least.
In the end, Rob tallied five votes — including one from Danielle, completing the Traitor-on-Traitor crime spree — but Ciara Miller cast the last and deciding vote for Wes, banishing him from the castle… but not before he could challenge Johnny Bananas for the title of Most Bitter Challenge Contestant To Be An Early Traitors Boot, flashing everyone the bird and saying “F--- all you guys” while on his way out of the castle.
Even though they succeeded — almost despite themselves — in getting another Faithful banished, the Traitors themselves seemed to be at an all-time low point. “This is the worst group of Traitors that I have ever seen,” Boston Rob marveled. “Nobody trusts anybody. It’s just insanity. What’s wrong with these people? All of them!”

Their next meeting in the turret began in silence, but it wasn’t long before Carolyn and Danielle started tussling again. After Boston Rob told the two, “I don’t even know what to do,” Carolyn responded, “We just got to go after Danielle.”
This blissfully awkward moment was punctuated by Danielle responding, “Whatever you say, I’m going to fight back. Don’t think I’m going to sit there and lie down. If you bring it, I’m going to bring it back.”
“You have nothing on me,” said Carolyn, to which Danielle replied “Oh, I have plenty.”
It was a juicy conclusion to an explosive episode — literally — as the players blew up a giant Traitor statue with 1,500 pounds of gunpowder. And by the end of the episode, the Traitors had blown themselves up as well.
