Tracy Morgan Explains Medical Emergency at Knicks Game, Shares Photo From Hospital Bed
The New York Knicks and Miami Heat called timeout Monday night after Tracy Morgan fell ill and threw up on the court.
The Saturday Night Live vet was seated courtside at Madison Square Garden. Video captured and shared on X shows Morgan holding a bloodied towel to his face as he is escorted out by wheelchair.

On Tuesday, Morgan took to Instagram to assuage concerns and let his fans know that he suffered from food poisoning:
“Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” he wrote. “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅 #goknicks”
The two-time Emmy nominee is currently attached to two TV shows, including Crutch, a spinoff of CBS’ The Neighborhood that is earmarked for streaming service Paramount+. Morgan will not reprise his Season 4 role as Calvin Butler’s wealthy brother Curtis. Instead, he’ll play a new character: Calvin’s cousin, Francois “Frank” Crutchfield – or, as his friends call him, Crutch — “a Harlem widower whose empty nest plans are put on hold after his millennial son and free-spirited daughter move back home,” according to the official logline.
He is also set to star in and executive-produce an as-yet-untitled NBC sitcom pilot that focuses on “a disgraced former football player on a mission to rehabilitate his image.” The series hails from fellow 30 Rock alums Robert Carlock and Sam Means; Tina Fey is also an EP.
Should the latter move forward, Morgan will be able to headline both shows.
After a seven-year stint on SNL (1996-2003), Morgan went on to play erratic actor Tracy Jordan on 30 Rock, earning his first Emmy nomination in 2009 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Since then, Morgan has starred in The Last O.G., which ran for four seasons on TBS, and made appearances on The Neighborhood, The Santa Clauses and The Twilight Zone.
Morgan, who is diabetic, previously underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. Four years later, he suffered a traumatic brain injury when his tour bus was involved in a six-vehicle crash.
