Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas are sparking romance speculation after the pair stepped out for a dinner date over Valentine’s Day weekend. The Top Gun: Maverick actor and the Knives Out actress–who was previously romantically linked to Ben Affleck–were spotted enjoying dinner together in London on February 13 and taking photos with fans in London’s Soho neighborhood before heading back in the same taxi, per People.

The Blonde star went casual in dark blue barrel-leg denim jeans, a black blazer, and gold heels, per photos obtained by The DailyMail, while Cruise opted for navy blue slacks with a matching blazer and a taupe collared shirt. Per the publication, the stars held bags of leftovers and were greeted with a crowd of fans during their evening walk, stopping to chat and take selfies with people.

Their unexpected outing, as well as the Valentine’s Day weekend timing of their dinner date, quickly fueled rumors that Cruise and de Armas are dating. However, a source told People that the interaction was more professional than romantic, and that they met to discuss “potential collaborations down the line.” They shared, “Tom looked happy as fans approached him for photos, and the group later took home leftovers.”

The source added that the pair “appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends,” but there’s a chance that fans might see the actors co-starring on a project soon. The Ghosted actress, who starred as a secret service agent opposite Chris Evans, has made no secret of her admiration for Cruise’s work while opening up about doing her own stunts.

The From the World of John Wick: Ballerina actress told USA Today in a 2023 interview that she was “not at a Tom Cruise level yet” while applauding his dedication to doing his own stunts. “But I can appreciate what he does 100% now, and I totally get why he does it,” she shared. “He’s so mind-blowing.”
