Today's Sarah Abo takes a swipe at Karl Stefanovic: 'Stay down'
"We've lost the plot!"
The Today show's Sarah Abo jokingly took a swipe at her co-host Karl Stefanovic on Wednesday while she and Alex Cullen were messing around during an ad break.
In a video shared to the Today Instagram account, with the caption, "It's only Wednesday and we've lost the plot," Alex attempts to see how high he can get his seat, with his chair well above the news desk.
The presenters joked that Alex was sitting in a high chair like a baby, with Karl jokingly pretending to feed him.
"Here comes the train, choo choo choo choo!" Karl said in a baby voice.

"I've got snow on my head I'm so high, wee!," Alex added.
Brooke Boney also joined in, sitting high above the desk, with Sarah doing the same, saying, "Let's prank Karl!"
"Is this what it's like on top of a mountain," she joked as she waved down at her co-host, saying, "Hello Karl."
"Join in the fun!" Alex told him, but he didn't play along.
"The wind blows hardest at the top of the mountain, as they say," Karl quipped, as Sarah and Brooke pretended to be blown away.
"You can just stay down there, where you belong," Sarah told him.
"I'm happier with it," he responded with a smile.
Karl's 'clash' with Sunrise's Nat Barr
It comes after Karl had a hilarious encounter with his 'rival', Sunrise's Natalie Barr, on Nova's Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel last week.
The Today host, who was filling in for Joel Creasey while he’s commentating the Eurovision Song Contest in the UK, went head-to-head with the Sunrise host on Thursday during a game of Quick Draw.
When asked what it was like being in the same room as her “opposition”, Nat jokingly pretended she didn’t know who Karl was.
“What’s your name again?” she quipped.
“It’s not easy looking at each other and being such fierce competitors,” he remarked. “Look at the daggers.”
The Channel Seven star then shut down speculation there was a ‘TV war’ between them and said “we actually don’t mind each other”.
“That’s not true,” Karl responded.
“You hate me?” Nat asked, to which he joked, “Yeah, I do.”
“Okay, I hate you more,” she replied.
“Well, you’re successful, and I’m not,” Karl conceded. “So there.”
