"Here is George. George is a pest sometimes, and hard work... but the hard work is worth it," the text on the video reads.
In the clip, George is taking a nap on his big grey bed, and while he takes up most of the space because he's a German Shorthaired Pointer, there's enough room for an adorable, tiny white lamb.
And yes, the lamb is real. Her name is Lulu, a purebred Wiltipoll who is just as cozy in the dog bed as George.
"He’s such a pest at the moment," the video's caption reads. "German Shorthaired Pointers are definitely not a dog suited to every family!" In the comment section, people swooned over the cute pair taking a cuddle puddle nap.
One wrote, "I can't get over how the lamb and the dogs can lay together in their beds. It is just the cutest."
Another shared, "Best dog I’ve ever had… as much as she is a lot of work and a stage 4 clinger, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Her love is deep."
Someone else added, "Lulu doesn’t think he is a pest."
One comment said, "He’s definitely worth it!"
Another added, "Oh Lulu you’re the best!"
One shared, "I love them!"
Someone else wrote, "I can’t get over them."
The German Shorthaired Pointer Has the Perfect Temperament for Friends
It's so cute to see George and Lulu getting along so well, and it makes sense when you factor in the general temperament of a German Shorthaired Pointer.
According to the American Kennel Club, German Shorthaired Pointers are "happy, trainable pets who bond firmly to their family." They are "friendly, smart, [and] willing to please."
The club lists them as "lovey-dovey" and "good with children," and given that they're good with other dogs, too, it makes sense that they'd get along with a lamb like George has.
DogTime explains this similarly, noting that German Shorthaired Pointers "cherish human companionship and form a special bond with children."
While Lulu isn't a human child, she is a lamb and as cuddly as a human toddler. These two are very clearly bonded together, and it's the most adorable thing
