Tim Waltz Goes Viral as Fans Compare Photo of His 'Signature Soup' to Iconic Scene From 'The Office'
Tim Walz may have a big election coming up this fall, but what fans are really looking forward to is "soup season."
The vice presidential candidate recently got fans excited about sweater weather when a now-viral photo showing him stirring up a giant vat of soup began circulating online, seemingly starting with Reddit, where one user described it as a photo of "Tim Walz stirring a pot of his signature soup," (though it's not clear when or where the photo was taken, nor what kind of soup is being stirred)—and so far, the memes have been endless.
"There is a chill in the air...soup season is almost here," one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote alongside the now-viral photo of Walz, 60, stirring up the concoction.

Not only are fans getting a kick out of the comically large bucket of soup, but some social media users also likened the snap of Walz and his "signature soup" to an iconic scene from The Office.
Fans of the NBC sitcom will remember the episode about Kevin's Famous Chili, when Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) shares the recipe for his signature chili, even though most of it ends up on the office floor.
"Welp, time to see that Office episode with Kevin and the chili again," said one user on Reddit.
"I didn't know that I needed to see Tim Walz stirring a big cauldron of soup today, but I did," someone else wrote on Twitter.
Another fan said, "I’d like to elect this man into office based on this photo alone."
Walz is the democratic vice presidential candidate for the upcoming presidential election, running alongside Kamala Harris.
Since being selected as Harris' running-mate, Walz has seemed to win over a lot of fans' hearts—especially those of soup lovers.

"This man is just the gift that keeps on giving," one Twitter user quipped.
Another person said, "nothing better than seeing this in a church parking lot on a cool fall morning."
"Winter is coming," someone else, presumably a Game of Thrones fan, added under the post.
