'Can't wait!': The Bachelor's Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich announce pregnancy

They're Australia's first Bachelor couple and after a beautiful wedding in 2018, Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich have announced they're continuing the fairy tale with news they're expecting a baby!

The pair revealed earlier this year they were keen to start a family and begin trying for a baby.

Taking to Instagram, Tim shared a photo of himself and Anna with the sonogram of their baby, alongside the caption, "We’ve been keeping busy in lockdown ...I can’t wait to be a Dad!!!

"The giddy feelings in my stomach show there must be a few nerves, but I know Anna’s going to be an absolutely amazing mother and I couldn’t be more excited to start a family with her!"

Anna added, "It’s been so hard to keep this a secret, over the past few months, but I can now finally shout... I’M PREGNANT!!!

"With everything that’s going on in the world we feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be starting a family together, and we’re so looking forward to this next chapter in our lives."

Speaking with The Sunday Telegraph, Anna revealed, "I’ve never been more nervous yet excited about something in my whole life."

"I come from such a close family and I’ve always wanted to be a mum. It’s crazy to think I’ve already fallen in love with someone I haven’t met."

Tim, who plays Pierce Greyson on Neighbours, added, "I’ve spent the last year and a half learning what not to do as a parent on Neighbours. I can’t wait to become a dad for real."

"It is definitely the role of a lifetime. Only this time there’s no audition. So you could say, there’s plenty of nervous excitement for the next stage in our lives together and I can’t wait."
