Weet-Bix has been gracing our breakfast tables for over 100 years, with millions of Australians eating the whole-grain wheat cereal either warmed with sugar on top or cold with a good splash of milk.

I mean, how else can you eat Weet-Bix?

In a tiramisu?

Yes. Our staple breakfast cereal is currently going viral on TikTok as the star of a delicious new recipe that puts a twist on the Italian dessert. And, it's only 315 calories.

Give me the rundown

Let us unpack this all for you.

TikTok user Clean_Treats has nearly 50,000 followers for her super-easy, healthy and delicious recipes that use just a few ingredients.

She's previously made healthy French toast, low-calorie homemade pizza pockets and a take on Cookies & Cream Weet-Bix which had two million people watching in awe.

This time, she's used Weet-Bix to make the famous base for her Tiramisu which only has 6g fat, 31g carbs and 30g protein.

Here's how she does it.

For the base

Crush two Weet-Bix and pat into a small dish.

Pour 100-125ml boiling water or almond milk and mix in 1tbs of sweetener (stevia or maple syrup) and 1 tsp instant coffee or a shot of espresso.

If you're a bit of a sweet tooth, you can dust some sugar-free drinking chocolate or cacao onto the base for that extra chocolatey taste.

And that's the base done.

For the cream

Combine 130g vanilla yoghurt, 30g light cream cheese, 15g vanilla protein and an optional 1/2 - 1 tbsp sweetener (stevia or maple syrup) with a spoon in a bowl.

Once mixed, simply pour the creamy mixture onto the Weet-Bix base and evenly distribute.

Dust with 1-2 tsp of sugar-free drinking chocolate or cacao.

Then pop it in the fridge for one hour or for best results, overnight.

You're only next step is to eat and feel no guilt.
