TikTok is mad for this air fryer Nando's crispy chicken 'fakeaway'
If you love nothing better than a cheeky Nando's takeaway, then we've got good news. You no longer have to order your favourite chicken - you can now make it at home in just 25 minutes.
Adam Donelly is a personal trainer who has gone viral with his "fakeaway" recipes, where he recreates takeaway food in healthy ways, for a fraction of the price. His recipe for homemade Nando's crispy chicken thighs really hits the mark too.
All you need to do is put the chicken thighs in a bowl and spray them lightly with olive oil.
Then, cover them with Nando's Medium Chilli Peri Peri sauce, before sprinkling on some Nando's Medium Rub Spice Seasoning.
Mix everything together, then pop them in the air fryer at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, turn them and leave them to cook for another five minutes.
You'll end up with crispy chicken at a fraction of the cost of takeaway.
They're healthy too; each thigh contains just 130 calories and is packed with 20g of protein.
"Looks as good as Nando's," commented one fan.
