The air fryer hasselback potatoes going viral: 'Wow factor'
Air fryers have become known for helping make easy, healthy food, fast.
Now this recipe for hasselback potatoes is getting rave reviews from air fryer aficionados all over.
With more than 1500 likes and hundreds of comments, these buttery, cheesy potatoes are described as "lush" and "so delicious" by everyone who's made the quick snack.
All you need to do is slice the raw potatoes crosswise about 1cm apart, without cutting through the bottom of the potato.
Then mix four tablespoons of butter or olive oil with a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of pepper, and a tablespoon of thyme. Then, brush the mixture over the potatoes.
Next, cook the potatoes for 12 minutes in an instant pot or pressure cooker.
Then, remove the potatoes and brush them with the buttery herb mixture again.
Place them into your air fryer for 10 minutes at 180c.
Once cooked, sprinkle them with freshly grated parmesan and thyme.
"This is a must-make any time you want to really bring the 'wow' factor to your dinner table," says one person.
