This 4 ingredient air-fryer hack turns your potato peels into a tasty snack: 'OMG great idea'
Next time you're peeling potatoes, don't toss the skins away... fry them up instead.
If there's one thing we love more than potatoes, it's...more potatoes.
If, like us, you can't get enough of the king of carbs, thanks to a clever hack you can turn those often-discarded potato peels into a tasty snack that's also a fantastic way to use every part of the beloved spud.
Shared in the popular Aldi Mums Facebook group, this brilliant hack will ensure no potato peel is left behind.
"Don't let those potato peels go to waste! Air fry them instead," wrote the clever mum, alongside photos of her skins before and after air frying.
Instead of discarding them, the resourceful home cook suggested simply seasoning and air frying the potato peels, and voila! You've got yourself a crispy and salty treat that's perfect for munching while you wait for dinner to be ready.

According to the creative cook, these peels are even better than regular potato chips, and the best part? Zero waste, leaving zero guilt!
The recipe couldn't be simpler. All you need are the potato skins, some olive oil, salt, and pepper. Air fry the potato skins at 390 degrees for 8-10 minutes until they are crispy and golden. For an extra burst of flavour, the original poster suggests sprinkling some parmesan cheese over them when they're done.
Fellow group members were quick to express their love for this genius idea.
"OMG great idea, love it," one person commented enthusiastically. "That's a brilliant idea," another chimed in.
Some members even shared their own variations, using different herbs and spices to customise the snack to their liking.
And if you thought that was the end to the ap-peel of the humble spud, think again, one group member spilled the beans on another delish seasoning idea: Mix 4 parts salt, 2 parts chicken stock, and shake it up with garlic and onion powders, along with paprika to create your very own KFC-style seasoning.
According to one group member, these potato skins are not just delicious but also full of nutrients. "They're good for serotonin (feel good chemical) release," they said.
