If you like to keep up with jewelry trends, over the last couple of years, you may have noticed that brands have moved on from offering big, glittery pieces to smaller, understated accents, especially when it comes to earrings. But who says a daintier earring can't still make a fashion statement? If you're looking for a trendy everyday bobble that goes with everything, look no further than the celebrity-loved Bottega Veneta Small Drop Earrings ... or this lookalike from Amazon for a fraction of the price.
The earrings come in a few sizes, but the 32mm size is most similar to the designer pair.

The crescent-shaped earrings fit onto your lobes like studs with a standard stick and back (for lack of better terms). And yes, OK, these earrings aren't exactly dainty, but they aren't sparkly, dangly or otherwise costume-like. They're just the right size for spicing up jeans and a T-shirt, pairing with your favorite workday outfit or wearing with a cocktail dress to a wedding. You don't have to worry about them weighing down your ears either — they're gold-plated copper and hollow on the inside, so they're super lightweight.
While celebrities including Kyle Richards, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber adore the Bottega Veneta ones, Amazon shoppers — approximately 4,100 of them — give the Apsvo Chunky Waterdrop Earrings a five-star rating.
"They look like a very expensive pair but they look and feel great," said one shopper. "They are not too heavy even though they look sizable. I always get compliments when I wear these!"
"The earrings are extremely lightweight. No heaviness at all. They are also very shiny in person," said one shopper who shared they were on the hunt for the perfect lookalike. "The size, in my opinion in between the small and large of the originals... They will stand out just enough for people who aren’t familiar with the original designer brand to notice and people who are familiar will definitely ask you, 'Where’d you get those?!'"
Another fashionista confirmed: "Pretty lightweight and the shape of it is the most accurate to the real BV style."
However, one note on the earrings is that they come with an extra backing (woo!). Yet some reviewers said they wish they the earrings fit a little tighter or came with another type of clasp.
"They come with an extra backing, but I wish one of them was a disc backing. No worries, I can go buy them," said a four-star fan.
That said, if you're trying to look bougie on a budget, these earrings are a good buy, and if gold isn't your color they also come in silver, rose gold and a few matte colorful shades.
