The surprise reason why MAFS' Brent and Ella aren't dating
MAFS stars Brent Vitiello and Ella Ding have been spending a lot of time together since the show wrapped up last week.
And despite the fact the pair has acknowledged there is a connection between them and have spent the last couple of weekends together, Yahoo Lifestyle understands there is a reason why the pair is hesitant to rush into a relationship.
"Brent is planning on spending some time in America soon and exploring possible work opportunities there. Now their season is airing in the States, he's slowly gaining an American following and has connections in LA and NYC he is planning on meeting with," an insider tells us.
"He is also planning on doing a tour across the UK with Al [Perkins] as the pair have started receiving offers for club appearances.

"Whereas Al can't wait to get over there and party, Brent is very business minded and understands there's big money to be made and the whirlwind around MAFS could help set him up financially for years to come."
Meanwhile, Yahoo Lifestyle understands Ella doesn't want to rush into any new romance as she says she is still "healing" from her breakup from Mitch Eynaud and wants to focus on her move from Melbourne to Sydney and lining up new work there first.
It comes after Daily Mail shared photos of Ella and Brent hosting a joint birthday party in Sydney over the weekend where they met each other's parents.
In video obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle taken ahead of the final Sunday night episode, the pair was seen leaving Brent's apartment together as they headed to Domenica Calarco's viewing party.
"Which rumours? Do you mean Mitch and Tamara [Djordjevic]? That’s all I know," Brent said coyly, referencing the reports that their TV spouses have also started dating.
"Aren’t they saying ‘Team Brella’?" Ella chimed in with a laugh.
When asked about what they had been getting up to in Brent’s apartment, Ella explained that they were simply "getting ready" to go out.
"This is actually hers," Brent added while pointing to the black bomber jacket he was wearing. "You see, I’m dressed in her clothes now."
"Yeah, that is mine. Looks better on him though," Ella remarked, before adding that she was "making the most" of her time in Sydney by hanging out with Brent.
They went on to respond to the public’s love for them as a couple, calling it "quite nice" and "cute", but reaffirmed that they are "just chilling".
"We are, we’re just chilling," Ella echoed, while Brent said, "We’re just doing a bit of Brella s**t and that’s it."
