The Project's Sarah Harris divides with 'gross' underwear confession

The Project's Sarah Harris surprised social media users on Thursday night when she revealed on the show that she doesn't wash her bras, with some loving her honesty and others cringing at the "gross" admission.

"I don't even wash my bras," she said in an off-hand comment that stunned her male co-hosts.

"No one washes their bras, Sarah... they're clean!" Jessie Stephens said, backing Sarah up.

Waleed Aly said, "You know what? They forfeit the right to call men disgusting now, that's it."

A confused Sam Taunton responded, "What do you mean? It's on [your body], like you have to wash it!"

"Is it just me, or do you wear the same one most days?" Jessie asked her co-host, to which Sarah responded, "I have three: a black one, a strapless one and a normal one."

Social media users shared their support or their disgust, with one user writing, "Oh no!!! 2 wears and in the wash ladies!!!"

"OMG this makes me so relieved," another added with a laughing emoji.

"When your bras cost upwards of $80 each, you can't afford to have too many or wash them daily," a third said.

"No way! Wash daily and I have 12... multiples of the same styles or colours. When you find good support you must take good care of them," someone else said.

"Despite the comments Sarah and Jessie, I reckon there's a whooole lot of women who agree with you and just aren't willing to comment here," another wrote.

"Fresh every day," one user wrote, with another agreeing, "Definitely a clean bra daily."

"Gross. In summer you sweat. You need a clean bra daily," someone else added.
