The Project's Tommy Little slammed after 'degrading' post
The Project star and radio host Tommy Little has been forced to apologise after accidentally using a 'rude' and 'degrading' nickname in an Instagram post featuring his co-host Carrie Bickmore.
The 34-year-old comedian was slammed by fans online after writing in the caption alongside a photo of himself and Carrie: “Tweedledee and Tweedledumbc**t”.
Tommy eventually confirmed he was actually referring to himself when he used the X-rated term, but not before the post was inundated with angry comments.
"That’s just rude!" one person wrote.
"Why use that word? It’s always associated with a feeling of aggression again against women. Really disappointed and sad," another commented.
“That c word should never be used, it’s degrading,” was another response, while a fourth wrote: "Unnecessary."
Even Carrie Bickmore’s partner Chris Walker commented on the post, writing: “She’s actually pretty bright.”
Of course, Carrie and Tommy have a very friendly relationship, as they also co-host Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy radio show, as well as regularly sharing the panel on the Channel 10 program.
She hasn't said anything publically about the caption or the backlash.
Earlier this week, Tommy had already trapped another of his co-hosts Susie Youssef into also making a X-rated joke, about a 'box'.

It comes after Carrie took to Instagram last week, to share a hilarious set of throwback snaps of herself from the 1990s where her eyes are always almost closed.
Some said that Carrie had aged "like a fine wine", while others suggested she looked like Silence of the Lambs star Jodie Foster and Sabrina the Teenage Witch's Melissa Joan Hart.
The mum previously showed off her lockdown transformation in October last year, when she decided to cut off her signtaure blonde locks.
At the time Carrie took to TikTok where she wrote: “Goodbye Lockdown. Goodbye Locks”.
