Aussie star unrecognisable in epic throwback snap

He’s best known as the loveable comedian who injects humour into The Project most nights of the week, but Tommy Little looks completely unrecognisable in this snap.

The 35-year-old, who also co-presents the Carrie & Tommy show in Hit Network with Carrie Bickmore, uploaded a throwback photo to his Instagram page which has left his fans in stitches of laughter.

“Coronavirus. The worst thing to happen to society since my “dreadlock” phase of year 8,” he captioned the post.

The image shows Tommy when he was about 13 or 14 years old, looking sunkissed and sporting blonde dreadlocks.

Needless to say, Tommy’s fellow comedians didn’t miss out on the chance to roast him online.

Nazeem Hussain, a fellow comedian and radio presenter compared Tommy to a well-known Aussie singer from the ‘90s.

“Alright Peter Andrew,” he wrote.

New Zealand funny woman Urzila Carlson wrote: “Your hair is what my mouth feels like after a long day of lockdown eating and excessive day drinking.”

Tommy’s lighthearted post comes just days after he said he was “f***ing shattered” that his tour was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“Standup comedy is what I love but the safety of you and your nearest and dearest is what’s important,” he wrote on Instagram.

In an effort to get a break from the coronavirus coverage sweeping the nation, Tommy decided to take a walk around his neighbourhood but it didn’t exactly go to plan.

“Going for a walk to try and forget about the whole coronavirus shit storm for at least a few minutes proved to be harder than expected....,” he said alongside a picture of him standing next to a.garage spray painted with the word ‘COVID-19’.
