Tommy Little stuns Carrie Bickmore with harsh Halloween costume suggestion

He’s the controversial comedian who’s constantly hitting headlines for his larrikin ways on The Project.

And Tommy Little made Carrie Bickmore’s jaw drop on last night’s episode of the Channel 10 current affairs show, after he made a bizarre suggestion about what the much-loved host should dress up as for Halloween.

“I suggested an outfit for Carrie, which might be too scary,” Tommy started.

“I just suggested she go trick-or-treating without makeup.”

The audience erupted in laughter as Carrie looked utterly shocked.

Ever the professional, the 38-year-old mum took the joke in her stride, even if the guest they had on the show at the time stood up for Carrie, saying “That’s mean.”

Tommy targets his co-hosts

It’s not the first time Tommy has mocked his fellow panelists on the show.

The 34-year-old comedian is known for having a playful friendship with co-host Hamish Mcdonald, with the pair constantly erupting into fits of laughter on the show.

This week, Hamish could barely keep it together on the panel after Tommy dropped a scandalous on-air gag.

Tommy was poking fun at Today show host Steve Jacobs who let slip some unfortunate wording in a cross from Fiji earlier this week.

“I got my piña colada where you can drop and flop,” morning host Steve said.

“That is the drop and flop. If you do that in the opposite order, you get arrested,” Tommy replied, deadpan as his co-hosts struggled to maintain a similar composure.

Tommy’s slightly off-colour joke was referring to a gentleman exposing himself publically, which of course would be frowned upon by police.

Panellist Monty Dimond roared with laughter, while Hamish went red-faced trying, and failing, to contain a similar reaction.
