The Project hosts lose it over Carrie Bickmore's throwback snap
The Project panel descended into a fit of giggles on Monday night when the team unearthed an awkward school formal throwback photo of host Carrie Bickmore.
Comedian and regular panelist Peter Helliar of course was responsible for the jab, joking that Carrie looked like she had dressed in her "grandmother's curtains".
"Back in the day they photoshopped you to look like a ventriloquist in one of your high school photos," Helliar quipped as the old high school photo flashed up on screen.
"That's my year twelve ball!" Carrie exclaimed, adding: "I so desperately wanted him to kiss me that night and I only found out years later I never had a chance."

Carrie explained she and her mother had handmade the dress just for the formal.
"When he picked me up, James, my gorgeous date James, he said his nan's couch was made out of the same fabric," Carried added.

Carrie Bickmore unrecognisable in throwback photos
She already shocked some of her followers when she shared a hilarious set of snaps of herself from the 1990s where her eyes are always almost closed.
Some thought the Carrie was unrecognisable in the photos, which she posted on Instagram in February.
"The 90’s.....when you didn’t get the chance to take a photo multiple times til you got one with your eyes open," she jokingly captioned the snaps.
Some of her followers said that Carrie had aged "like a fine wine", while others suggested she looked like Silence of the Lambs star Jodie Foster and Sabrina the Teenage Witch's Melissa Joan Hart.
"Is that really you Carrie?" one asked.
Carrie Bickmore's dress sends fans wild
Carrie's latest throwback comes after a recent outfit choice for The Project sent fans online wild, with one viewer declaring the look "divine".
Fans worked out the high-necked navy dress featuring an eye-catching peacock feather pattern and long, cuffed sleeves was the 'Maria Feather Printed Mini Dress' by British fashion brand Reiss ($475).
One person agreed, writing, "Kinda wish it were a shirt though!" — which it actually is, with the pretty print also being sold as a chic button-up shirt ($380).
With Carrie behind the desk, what viewers couldn't see was the waist tie, the length of the dress — it's a mini — and the fact that it's secured at the back of the neck with a sweet tie.
