The Block's Keith debuts major transformation after quitting the show: 'Looking good'
‘The Blockinator’ made a surprise return to the show this week.
The Block viewers noticed a major change in Foreman Keith Schleiger's appearance during his surprise return in Tuesday night's episode of the reality show. The 50-year-old tradie, who is more commonly known as ‘the Blockinator’, stepped back from his full-time duties this season but returned this week to help lead the Surf Club Renovation Challenge.
While fans were thrilled to see Keith back in his natural habitat - having fierce confrontations with reality TV contestants - they were even more surprised to see that he has a brand new set of teeth.

“Keith has new teeth!” one person wrote on social media, while another replied, “Yes! They look great”.
“Yes, they are very noticeable,” a third commented, followed by someone else who said, “Looking good Keith”.
“Living for this transformation of Keith,” a different user remarked.
Not everyone was happy with his transformation, however, with one fan protesting: “Bring back your toothy gap Keith. The new choppers are too beautiful for a tough guy.”
Keith spills on major transformation
Keith underwent a dental transformation earlier this year and shared videos on social media in collaboration with Bec Dental in February documenting his journey.
Dr Belinda Feldman explained in one of the clips that they used a procedure called DSD Direct, an evolution of an injectable resin guide technique, to reshape Keith’s teeth and give him a brand new smile.
“I didn’t like my teeth and my smile, and being a TV presenter, it’s very important to have a good smile and good teeth,” he said in the video. “I was finding I was actually hiding my teeth from the camera.”
Keith went on to say that he feels “very proud” of his new teeth and the transformation has completely changed his life.
“Hopefully I get a lot more sponsorship offers now! People aren’t going to go, ‘Oh bloody Keith with his bad teeth, I can’t use him!’,” he joked. “When I’m in front of the camera like I am now, I’m not gonna be so scared and trying to hide my mouth. I’ll probably be grinning a bit more than I’m used to.”
Why isn't Keith on The Block 2024?
After appearing on 16 seasons of The Block, Keith made the decision to step back from his full-time duties on the reality show this year to spend more time with his daughters, Ebony, 14, and Jasmin, 11.
The Melbourne-based star said he wasn’t able to commute to Phillip Island for the entire duration of filming but will make regular appearances throughout the season.

“I couldn't see a way of seeing my children more than once a week or something like that," Keith told 9Entertainment. “I wouldn't have been able to commute from Melbourne, I would have to live down there. That was always going to be very hard and it just didn't feel it was the right thing to do at the time – I don't really want to spend three months without them.”
Foreman Dan, who previously competed on the show in 2012 and 2013 before joining as a foreman in 2015, has since stepped up to take over Keith’s role.
