The Block viewers slam awkward moment caught on camera between Leah and Kristy

An awkward moment between The Block's Leah and Kristy was caught on camera last night following their huge clash earlier this week.

The Block's Instagram account shared a clip of Leah trying to wave at Kristy, who ignored her (or didn't see her) completely.

A producer is heard asking Leah, "Who are you waving at?"

"I don't know!" Leah replies, laughing awkwardly as she continues trying to get Kristy and Brett's attention. "I waved at Brett and Kristy but..."

"That worked out," the producer quipped.

"I don't – nothing," Leah said, seemingly lost for words.

"Every time she turns back, I just wave," she added, grimacing at the awkwardness of the situation.

The video was captioned, "I'll just be over here 👋," with the words "POV: When you get left on read again..." on the video.

Fans didn't seem to be into the drama, with one user writing, "Can we please go back to basics and give more on the actual renovations."

"As much as I dislike narcissistic, gaslighting Kristy.... Leah stop...!" another wrote.

"This season reminds me why I stopped watching The Block," a third added.

"They're both as bad as each other. Period," someone else said.

"Hate this show so much now," another said. "It’s full of fake people, drama and so obvious the judges are being told how to score for more drama."

"Both girls are as bad as each other," another added. "Channel 9 is making this such a drama show. Lost so many viewers."

"At least Leah is trying to repair what she's done. Kristen is just a b***h," one user said.

Leah and her husband Ash got into a huge fight with Kristy and Brett on Monday night, with Leah claiming she and Ash were "really overtaken" by the other couple and "their strong personalities".

“We became people that we’re just not. Even though we don’t hold the same opinions we were still listening to it, we were still engaging in conversations, and we didn’t stand up for what was right,” Leah said.

In an interview with news.com.au, Leah said the ramifications of the conversation between the couples are still being felt today.

“This affected the rest of my experience on The Block. Some serious, deep issues went on. At the moment, most of the cast are trying to stay very positive and professional,” Leah said.

When asked by the publication if she and Ash were ‘realigning’ themselves with Kristy and Brett post-show, Leah said: “There is absolutely no realigning (with Kristy and Brett)."
