The Block star Adrian Portelli's unlikely connection to The Bachelors 2023

Australian billionaire Adrian Portelli, 34, has made a (bigger) name for himself after buying three houses on the 2023 season of The Block, and now it looks like his ex-fianceé is destined for reality TV stardom.

Anastasia Iliopoulos was close to becoming Mrs Portelli last year, but the couple split after they found their values 'didn't align'. Adrian has since moved on, recently showing off an extravagant push present he bought for his new partner Karlie Butler who's due to give birth to their son soon.

Now 31-year-old model and single mum, Anastasia, is set to appear in the next season of The Bachelors, less than a year since her breakup with Adrian.

Anastasia has since spoken out about their breakup, saying the two are still 'mates' but were very different.

“For me our values did not particularly align, there were certain things that he wanted that I am not willing to do, and that does not make him a bad person, it just makes us different in what we want out of love," she told the Herald Sun.

According to the Daily Mail, a friend of Anastasia said the split with Adrian was very 'toxic', but she is in 'a much happier place without him in her life'.

While Anastasia kept the full details of the split under wraps, she alluded to the fact the couple's life wasn't as fancy as it looked.

“We woke up, we made breakfast, we worked all day, we worked all night then we went to bed,” she said.

“It was not as extravagant as it looks. We were just the same old west side people we grew up as. It did not seem like the high life when you were in it.”

According to reality TV podcast So Dramatic, a Channel 10 insider has said Anastasia will be in Bachelor Ben's dating pool and is apparently one of his finalists.

The Bachelors is due to premiere on December 3rd on Channel 10.
