Kristy and Brett are down-to-earth Adeladians, however, insiders say they may clash with the other teams and and will do all they can to get the job done.

Some of the ways in which they use their space may really surprise viewers, with their old-school techniques set to divide both fans and the judges.

House Four: Gianpietro Ottavio and Steph Ottavio (Blue Team from NSW)

This married couple is not on The Block to mess around. They want to bring a unique style to Australia with some interesting offshore ideas. Their Japanese influence has really set their style apart from the other houses and they feel confident this season is theirs to win.

According to our insiders, Steph doesn't want other people to get in her way, it is a competition after all.

Gian is really supportive of his architect wife and has her back, but he doesn't want to get involved with conflict.

House Five: Eliza Paschke and Liberty Paschke (Purple Team from VIC)

Sisters Eliza and Liberty are no strangers to the entertainment industry, working in TV and radio, respectively. Eliza has been Hamish Blake and Andy Lee's assistant for 10 years and has also had a successful podcast with former MAFS contestant Carly Bowyer.

Sources suggest the siblings understand good PR and they feel like they have a secret power up their sleeve. Eliza and Liberty are ambitious and competitive and do what they can to stay out of the drama, but we hear that, eventually, they get sucked in.
