The Block's Sarah-Jane reveals traumatic birth story: 'Thought I was dying'

"I actually thought I was dying… I thought, 'I can't do this'."

The Block star Sarah-Jane Callea has revealed on her podcast with fellow former Block star Rachel Carr that her first time giving birth was quite traumatic.

The reality star shared the story on I Just Can't with SJ & Rach, after Rach shared that her first time giving birth was a "beautiful experience".

"It was all very peaceful. Everleigh ended up being born, they put her on my chest, it was the most beautiful thing," Rachel shared. "I barely felt a thing, I had a Vegemite scroll at one point, we had Ed Sheeran playing… hence why that led me into a false sense of loving labour. Don't worry, it all went downhill."

The reality star continued, "With Mila, they put the epidural in… and Ryan fainted."

"I was in so much pain, I was in so much discomfort… I was on all fours of the shower, screaming. I actually thought I was dying… I thought, 'I can't do this'," she said.
