The Bachelors' Tash slams 'villain' edit: 'I haven't done anything'

Tash opens up about her time on the show.

She may have found herself at the centre of the biggest controversies this season, but Tash Candyce maintains she didn’t do anything wrong during her time on The Bachelors.

The 31-year-old real estate agent, who copped backlash for outing both Jessica’s polyamorous relationship and Jasmine’s OnlyFans account without their consent, tells Yahoo Lifestyle that she isn’t quite sure why she’s been labelled ‘the villain’.

“Everyone says that I'm the villain, but let's be honest, what have I done?” she asks.

“I told Jed, who I'd been seeing, and his best mate Felix that the girl he likes is seeing someone else. She had ample opportunities to voice that to him, and I just think you need to say that from the start… But obviously, she wanted him to probably have some feelings for her so she'd get a rose and that's what's happened.

“And then the Jasmine thing,” she continues. “You can see that all the girls there knew about it as well. And I was like, she's pissed off because she thought that I revealed to Jed on our one-on-one date that she had an OnlyFans account, and I didn’t.”

'Haters are gonna hate'

Tash went on to say that the “bullying” she received in the house from her fellow contestants is the reason why she decided to leave so abruptly.

“I've been told to go drown, I’m the spawn of Satan, I’m a b**ch. And I'm like, what have I really done?” she says. “I’ve just stuck to my morals and values.

“That was triggering because all the girls were attacking me and it felt like high school and that's why I wanted to leave because I was like, at what point do you say enough is enough?”

The former First Dates contestant adds that she believes the other women didn’t like her during filming because they were “really intimidated” by her confidence, which is also what she thinks Jed found most attractive about her.

“I don't owe these girls any loyalty,” she remarks. “I've just been me and haters are gonna hate. And you know what? It's all the hate that gets people talking about me, so thank you to my haters out there. Love you!”

'What’s wrong with you?'

Speaking about her surprise return during Sunday night’s episode, Tash explains that she wanted to come back on the show because she felt that she and Jed had a genuine connection.

“I contacted the production team and I was like, ‘Hey, I think I've made a mistake’, and I owned that,” she says. “I went back for myself because I needed clarity, and I got clarity. I mean, I went back for him, but at the same time, I did do it for myself because I did have a connection with him.

“So I was a bit surprised that he said no, and especially watching it back I was like, your heart was saying yes, what’s wrong with you? This show is about love, you could have potentially had something great with me!

“I think he probably should’ve gone to Specsavers and got some glasses.”
