The Amazing Race's Cyrell Paule has called out viewers of the show for racist remarks, after she and her partner Eden Dally were eliminated from the reality show last night. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Cyrell blasted the people who had been making awful comments about her, saying she did the show to raise awareness for charity and that the colour of her skin should have nothing to do with anyone's commentary when it comes to the show.

"This is a show, regardless of what has happened, I will not tolerate racism towards me!" Cyrell wrote. "I may carry on, and people may not agree with how I deal with it. End of the day, I did this to raise awareness for Bravehearts, the charity."

The former MAFS star highlighted one of the nasty comments in her Story, with an Instagram user writing, "Wow I would've thrown one of those mud bricks at a monkey in this situation".

"The colour of my skin has nothing to do with it. To this person, the only animal here is you," Cyrell said in response.

Eden also took to Instagram to address their time on the show and throw his support behind Cyrell, calling her the strongest person he knows. Eden also spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle, calling the behaviour of people labelling Cyrell a 'monkey' disgraceful.

"I keep seeing people saying, ‘You need to eat a banana’, ‘She’s a monkey’. Like, in 2024, how are we still being racist? You know what, when you go on TV shows, we’re used to getting in trouble. It happens, it’s part of the whole gig. Racism, I can’t believe it still goes on," Eden told Yahoo Lifestyle. "I don’t know how many times Cyrell’s been called a monkey, it’s disgraceful. It happens all the time."

Cyrell also spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle, saying she doesn't understand why she's a target.

"What irritates me is is there are so many other contestants, and not that I wish this upon them, but I don't understand why I kind of feel like a bit of a target at times, because you don't really see anyone else this being treated like that," she said. "Like Eden said, it's just hurtful, because I like to think I wouldn't want my son to grow up in a world like this, and yet he's gonna grow up seeing articles and people saying that about his own mother. So that's why I had to put this person on blast, put them up on Instagram and call them out because it's just disgusting behaviour."

Fans and reality stars rallied around Cyrell after she and Eden were eliminated and after they spoke out about the racist behaviour.

"Was great getting to know you both mate," Peter Helliar said. "Nothing but love coming from Team Green!" "Awwww you guys killed it !! And you never gave up! 🙌🏼✨✨so inspiring guys!" former MAFS star Selina Chhaur commented.

"I loved every minute of you in the Amazing Race. Well done!!" one fan commented. "Well done guys, Boston will watch this and think of how proud he has you guys as his parents!" another said.

Many fans were sad to see the dynamic duo go. "You guys were the highlight of the show. It’s not gonna be the same without you," one person said. "You fought right to the end both of you! You should be proud of what you achieved just wished it wasn’t an elimination round :(," another commented.
