Terrence Howard had a unique way of making sure his son was prepared for any obstacle as a new driver.

As a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the actor, 55, shared that his son Hunter, whom he shares with his ex-wife Lori McCommas, was taught to drive by a stuntman. The dad of five explained that he had previously worked with a man named Jay Lynch, who's "an incredible stunt driver. He drove me in Idlewild. He drove me in a couple films," Howard explained.

"He took my son out, and would spend two hours a week showing him how to do stunt driving, showing him how to do defensive driving, and that has made him a very safe driver."

Howard also looked back on his own experience learning how to drive at 17 years old, sharing that he remembers driving dangerously for the fun of it.

"I remember being 17 driving at 120 miles an hour and trying to do turns and things of that nature, and I could've killed myself," he admitted.
