Taylor Swift's jet leaves Sydney after singer's Pellegrino 2000 dinner

Could this mean Travis Kelce will be joining Tay Tay Down Under?

Less than 24 hours after Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter dined at popular Sydney restaurant Pellegrino 2000 (where the global superstar left an insane tip), Tay's private jet was spotted leaving the Emerald City en route to Honolulu.

Speculation is now rife that the 'Cruel Summer' singer has sent her luxe plane to go and pick up boyfriend Travis Kelce so he can join her for the remaining leg of her sold-out Eras Tour.

Killa Trav himself has had fans excitedly pondering his presence Down Under after he mentioned in his New Heights podcast that he'd “venture to an island real soon” and also revealed that he'd be absent from recording with his brother Jason the following week.

It would make sense for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to want some R+R after his team's historic win at the 2024 Super Bowl (which Taylor was able to attend after flying 13 hours from Japan).

Date night at Pellegrino 2000?

Perhaps Taylor was so enamoured with Pellegrino 2000 that she'll take her footy-playing beau there for a date night? If not, perhaps she could ask Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker for some recommendations after the pair were spotted enjoying some Sydney hospitality at places such as Bills and also Mimis.

'Too much risk'

Taylor's surprise visit to Pellegrino came after a music industry source told Yahoo Lifestyle that the singer had no plans to be seen anywhere but the stage whilst in Australia, nor does she intend on meeting any fans, due to one strict reason.

“When Taylor is on tour, strict measures are put into place to stop her interacting with anyone outside of her 'bubble',” the source says.

“They can not risk her getting sick under any circumstances. Even those in her bubble, including her dancers and managers, are restricted to what they can do and where they can go during their downtime. Going on a world tour may sound exciting, but the reality of it is each day just consists of going from a hotel room to the venue and repeat.”

Despite being out and about in public last night, it seems Taylor was still taking precautions with an insider telling Yahoo Lifestyle: "They (Taylor and Sabrina) arrived at 7:30, were whisked through to the wine cellar intimate dining area, which had been booked out completely for them, and they left at 9:30.

"The upstairs of the restaurant remained open to regular customers who were all excited. Taylor smiled at fans as she rushed out to her awaiting car. She didn’t stop to talk, wave or take pictures as that would have been a security and health risk if she was mobbed. It is rare for her to go out publicly like this while on tour."
