Super Bowl 2024: From Taylor's drinking to Usher's performance here are the biggest moments
The game saw some huge moments - including a clash between Travis Kelce and coach Andy Reid.
Even if you don't know the first thing about American Football (it's me, I'm the problem, it's me) - you know that the Kansas City Chiefs are going head to head with the San Francisco 49ers, cheered on by Taylor Swift and with a halftime show courtesy of Usher today. Aside from being arguably the biggest sporting event of the year in the US, the Super Bowl is also a mecca for A-list celebrities and a chance for brands to spend eye-watering sums on commercials.
Here were the biggest moments of the 2024 Super Bowl and some of the best reactions.
Taylor Swift, Blake Lively and Ice Spice enjoy the suite life
Taylor was the reason the term #squadgoals became part of our lexicon and she brought one hell of a squad to the game. Joining the singer to cheer on Travis Kelce were bestie Blake Lively and fellow GRAMMY-nominee, Ice Spice.
The trio are enjoying the game from the comfort of a suite that is rumoured to come with a US 1.7 million dollar price tag, courtesy of Travis.
Also joining the fun is stylist and designer Ashley Avignone who is a longtime friend of Taylor's (thanks to an introduction from Emma Stone), Taylor's parents Andrea and Scott, her younger brother Austin plus Travis's brother Jason and his mum Donna.

Taylor Swift's tribute to Travis Kelce
Taylor had a long flight from Tokyo, Japan, where she spent the last few nights performing her Eras Tour (and an even longer one ahead as she travels to Australia to continue her tour!), but she still managed to look flawless as she arrived in Las Vegas for the big game.
Donning black jeans, a black bustier top and red lipstick, completed with a red jacket over her shoulder (in honour of the Chiefs uniform), Taylor also paid a sweet tribute to her man with her necklace which includes the number “87” - aka Travis’s team number.
The necklace - from Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry, is custom diamond and yellow gold and costs a casual $4250.
Travis Kelce clashes with coach Andy Reid
Fans of the game were NOT happy with Taylor's beau after he was seen yelling at 58-year-old coach Andy Reid and deliberately bumping into him.
The incident occurred after teammate Isiah Pacheco fumbled an important play - while Travis was off the field.
Frustrated that the Chiefs were yet to score at that point, Travis took his irritation out on Andy - and the backlash was, shall we say, Swift.

It's Taylor Swift's 13th game (so the Chiefs will win)
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that Super Bowl 2024 marks the 13th game that Taylor has attended since she and Travis Kelce became a couple.
As any good Swiftie knows, 13 is Taylor's lucky number so it could be a good omen for the results of the game.
At the 2024 GRAMMY Awards last week, Taylor used the opportunity while collecting her 13th-ever GRAMMY statue to announce the upcoming release of her next album - 'The Tortured Poets Department' - which is due out in April.

Usher's halftime show highlights
Alicia Keys joined Usher on stage to perform their iconic song 'My Boo' - which turned 20 this year (add that to the list of 'Facts that make me feel old AF'). Twitter was savage, as usual, immediately jumping on the fact that Alicia's first couple of notes were a little, erm, off-key.

Of course, no Usher performance would be complete without a rousing rendition of 'Yeah' - his thirteen times platinum hit single (which was the longest-running number-one song in 2004).
Lil Jon and Ludacris were in attendance to help Usher bring the '00s banger to the Super Bowl crowd and let's just say, we were all living for it.
"The way Usher Ludacris and Lil Job are STILL giving 2004 in 2024 though!" one fan wrote.
"Usher came and did EVERYTHING he said he was gonna do!!!!!! The undisputed KING of R&B, and the BEST male performer of his generation!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!!" enthused another.
"Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris being together again literally felt like the Avengers assembling for the first time in a decade," yet another said.

Taylor chugged a beer...and people had a lot to say about it
Beer and American football go hand in hand, right? Well, not if you're Taylor Swift, apparently.

After the singer was spotted on the Jumbotron chugging a plastic cup of beer, Twitter users were quick to share their opinions on whether or not it was appropriate for her to do so.
"Oh ya what a real roll (sic) model, How to Chug beer on live TV," one person said.
Others still theorised that Taylor needed a drink after Travis Kelce was seen yelling at coach Andy Reid - angry that he wasn't on the field when teammate Isiah Pacheco fumbled inside the red zone during the second quarter of the game.
"Gotta drink this off," someone wrote about the incident that had fans and viewers outraged.

CHIEFS WIN SUPER BOWL 2024!
Welp, the Swifties theory about the lucky number 13 was correct after all because after going into overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl yet again.
With a final score of 25 to the 49ers 22, the Chiefs won the big game for the second year in a row. Huge.
The back-to-back win represents the first time in 20 years a team has had two consecutive wins at the Super Bowl - with the New England Patriots being the last team to do so.
No team has ever had three back-to-back wins but, with Taylor as their good luck charm, maybe the Chiefs will dominate again next year.
Until then!
