Taylor Swift Visited Travis Kelce on Set of His New Game Show, Reveals Contestant Garcelle Beauvais: 'Really Sweet!'
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, will make his hosting debut on Prime Video's 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?' in October
Travis Kelce is entering his hosting era – and Taylor Swift made sure to show up and support him!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, is the host of Prime Video's new gameshow, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a spin-off from the original 2007 show, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?, and one of the celebrity contestants revealed that he got a visit from his girlfriend on set.
Garcelle Beauvais is one of a slew of stars including Nikki Glaser, Lala Kent, Chad Ochocinco and Sophia Stallone who will make up the celebrity panel on the show and help contestants answer questions, and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed that Kelce had Swift on set.
"She did come on set," Beauvais, 57, told Entertainment Tonight of the 34-year-old popstar. "Not the day that I was there, but she came. I think it's really sweet."
Beauvais praised Kelce's chops as a host, telling the outlet he was "great."
"He was fantastic. Like, game show host? I wasn't sure, but he didn't overdo it, he didn't under-sell it, he was himself, he had fun and it was great," she said.
The Bravo star also admitted that Swift wasn't the only person on set crushing on the NFL champion. "My glam team was like, 'Oh my God, he's fine.' Everyone on set was like, 'He's so fine,'" Beauvais recalled, before adding, "I don't want the Swifties coming for me, though!"
Swift showing up on set to support Kelce is just the latest effort the stars have made to be there for each other despite their opposing, demanding schedules.
They trade off rounds of showing up for each other, as Swift attended 13 of Kelce's NFL games – including the Super Bowl – and he then returned the favor, making it to 14 of her Eras Tour stops before he gained the courage to join her onstage at Wembley Stadium.
A source told PEOPLE afterwards that Kelce was "thrilled he could join her in London" and the couple "loved being onstage together," adding, "It was one of her tour highlights."
Kelce was confirmed as the host of the new game show in April, and said in a statement that he was "so excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons" with the hosting gig.
"The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining," he continued, before joking, "I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up."
Each episode of the show will feature an an adult contestant who will "rely on a classroom full of celebrities from comedy, screen, and sports to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from elementary curriculum," according to the official description.
Natasha Leggero, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches round out the celebrities who will make appearances as part of a panel to help contestants win the game.
