How Taylor Swift Reacted to Brittany Mahomes Welcoming Her Third Child

Taylor Swift had some rare social media activity on Monday to congratulate one of her new “squad” members on the newest addition to her family. Just hours after fellow Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes announced she’d given birth to her third child on Instagram, the “Blank Space” singer headed to platform to show her support with a subtle response.

Brittany, who already shares daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2, with husband Patrick Mahomes, shared she’d welcomed a newborn daughter with a simple joint message. Alongside a black-and-white photo of her and Mahomes putting their hands over their daughter’s feet, she wrote “Golden Raye Mahomes,” sharing the birth date as “1/12/25.”

Swift dropped a “like” on the post, confirming that the pair’s friendship is still going strong in 2025. Mahomes is a newer member of the “Cruel Summer” star’s girl squad, first stepping out publicly with Swift, Sophie Turner, and Blake Lively for a girls' night out at Emilio's Ballato in New York's Soho neighborhood back in 2023. Since then, Swift and Mahomes’s relationship has developed and survived feud rumors with the duo stepping out on double dates with their significant others, Kansas City Chiefs teammates Travis Kelce and Mahomes. The Mahomes couple even made an appearance at Swift's the Eras Tour together in Amsterdam last July.

It’s not the first time Swift has weighed in on Brittany and Patrick’s pregnancy, as the Grammy winner previously “liked” the couple’s initial joint announcement that they were having a third baby back in July.

Meanwhile, the “Lover” star took a sweet photo with Brittany and her baby bump during a Chiefs game appearance in October. In a WAGs photo taken from a VIP box, Swift could be seen placing her hand on her friend’s stomach while sporting glitter freckles and an off-the-shoulder plaid checkered minidress.
