Target's Peter Alexander dupe PJs sparks online frenzy: 'RUN'

The new festive collection of matching family pjs are said to rival the look and feel of the luxury brand

While Peter Alexander has long been the reigning champ in the luxury sleepwear scene Down Under with their silky, dreamy PJs, Target might just be ready to challenge their throne.

The retail giant has released an affordable collection of coordinated festive family pyjama sets and the internet heartily approves!

While Peter Alexander pyjamas are known to be the epitome of luxury, their price tag also reflects as much. With pyjama sets commanding a hefty average price of $129.00, many Aussies are left reluctant to splurge just for a night of sweet zzz's.

That's why social media is abuzz with excitement about Target's fresh and festive spring and summer pyjama collection hitting the shelves, with the cute designs reminiscent of Peter Alexander collections from years gone by, that won't break the bank.

The adorable designs feature gingerbread families, festive options like Christmas puddings, and the beloved Grinch, harking back to Peter Alexander's 2021 and 2022 Christmas collections. Target offers their sleepwear sets at prices ranging from as low as $14 to $25.

A video showcasing Target's latest Chrissy collection quickly went viral, thanks to a dedicated Target shopper who shared footage from their local store on TikTok.

"Look at these Peter Alexander dupes at Target," she captioned the clip, "Run, don't walk." The shopper went on to comment that she's "obsessed" with the entire range and plans to buy the lot.

"Thanks for this I just went online and bought all ours, $28 is a lot better than $130 each," one person wrote, to which the original shopper replied, "Yesss and the quality is so nice!"

Several other people agreed in the comments that the quality of the Target dupes was on par or even better than Peter Alexander's offerings.

"Finally some super cute Christmas pjs! I’m running there!" said someone else, while another added, "So tempted, even after spending an absolute mint on matching PA ones last year."

"Literally went and bought my whole family a set as soon as I saw this," replied someone else.
