BIG W has just unveiled its latest Spring fashion range, providing the perfect remedy to breathe life back into your winter-weary wardrobe. Amidst the exciting lineup, the internet has zeroed in on a $39 longline blazer that has everyone losing their collective cool, just in time for the approaching warmer months.
Fashion influencer @stylewithsyliva has fully embraced the flexibility of this collection, showing off how you can easily mix and match the pieces to transition between seasons. She shared her fashion know-how on Instagram, filming a series of outfit ideas that smoothly adapt from warm days through to cooler evenings.
In her post, she exclaimed, "So much pop of colour at Big W Australia right now," while sharing snippets of herself trying on various looks from the Spring collection.
Followers couldn't contain their excitement, echoing sentiments like "Loving the colour" and "those pink shorts with the orange tank and pink blazer" accompanied by starry eyed emojis. Big W fans chimed in with praise, exclaiming "How fun!" and giving a resounding "so much yes" to the colourful combinations.
BIG W has also partnered with celebrity stylist and mum Rebecca James to curate her favourite looks from the new range that reflect the latest seasonal fashion trends, with affordability and practicality top of mind.
“As the weather warms up, there is a lot to look forward to when it comes to refreshing your wardrobe rotation," Rebecca said. "BIG W’s Spring fashion collection has come at the perfect time as we look to welcome in the lighter layers and elevate our everyday looks this season."
Rebecca says updating your style can be as simple as introducing a couple of versatile staple pieces.
"You don’t need to replace your whole wardrobe to create on-trend looks. This spring, matching skirt sets are a big yes. Not only are sets a great way to achieve a quick, pulled-together look, but they can also be mixed and matched with the rest of your wardrobe.”
According to Helen Hari, BIG W's Senior Designer for Womenswear, bold colours are poised for a comeback this Spring, and the retailer is fully embracing the trend.
"We've designed the collection with versatility in mind, lending it to be the perfect transitional wardrobe that is affordable without compromising on style," she said. "From classic Springtime florals to relaxed yet chic basics, there is something for everyone this Spring at BIG W."
