Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are building a new Empire together.
The former costars, who starred as Lucious and Cookie Lyon in the hit FOX series, reunited on Wednesday, Sept. 4, to celebrate their latest collaboration, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.

Henson, 53, wore a sparkly white mini-dress with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. The sexy look was paired with tall, strappy silver heels. Howard, 55, wore a gray suit over a light blue collared shirt and a brown hair wig.
The duo are part of a star-studded ensemble cast, which also includes Kevin Hart, Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson.
Premiering Thursday, Sept. 5, on Peacock, the series follows the aftermath of a robbery that took place after Muhammad Ali's historic victory against Jerry Quarry on Oct. 26, 1970.
"When a hustler named Chicken Man (Hart) hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country’s wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history," a synopsis explains.
Chicken Man, suspected of masterminding the crime, "is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson (Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice," the synopsis adds.

While appearing on the Today show on Tuesday, Sept. 3, Henson revealed that the two had not seen each other since Empire wrapped until filming began on Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
"I hadn't seen Terrence since we left Chicago. It's great to see him again," she added.
