Tammy Hembrow's favourite way to unwind might surprise you
Between running two successful businesses, parenting two kids and growing a 12.6 million Instagram following, Aussie 'fit-fluencer' Tammy Hembrow has little time to relax.
The 27-year-old recently launched the new 'Faded' range with her clothing brand, Saski Collection — at Australian Fashion Week no less — and is about to kick off a new 8-week challenge on her fitness app, TammyFit.
Proud moment
As Tammy explains in an exclusive chat with Yahoo Lifestyle, making her fashion week debut down under was a huge milestone both personally and for her brand.
"It was so exciting for us to be able to participate in [Afterpay Australian Fashion Week], considering we were unable to showcase at Miami Swim Week and New York Fashion Week last year due to Covid.
"I was very proud of the collection and my Saski team who helped bring everything together."
'Faded' is Tammy's ode to early 2000s athleisure and features seven new styles including crop tops, cardis and trackies in washed-out hues like pink, blue and green.
"This collection is all double lined so it's super warm which has been amazing this winter," Tammy says.

Tammy's businesses have gone from strength to strength during the difficult pandemic period when many others have struggled. In fact, Tammy rounded off 2020 by claiming the Gold Coast’s Young Entrepreneur Award for 2020 for her fashion and fitness empires.
But, as the Gold Coast local reveals, there's still much more to come.
"I have been working on a really exciting new project that will be released later this year," she hints.
"Otherwise, Saski Collection has some amazing new collections coming up, and TammyFit has just announced its next 8 week 'Tone and Shred' challenge which starts on July 19, 2021," she adds.
Despite her hectic life, Tammy says she always makes time for downtime with her two children, son Wolf, 6, and four-year-old daughter, Saskia who she shares with ex-partner Reece Hawkin.
"Between juggling mum life and my businesses, it can be hard to find the time to sit and relax, however, I always make time to be with my family after school and on weekends.
"My favourite way to unwind recently is to watch Disney movies with my kids, do a facemask, or bake. It's important to do things that make you happy."
And, like any 'fit-fluencer' worth their salt, Tammy makes sure to prioritise her health and fitness by sticking with her 'usual routine' — regardless of whether or not she can make it to the gym.
She shared this advice for those of us currently stuck in lockdown across the country:
"It can be hard to stay motivated especially when you have nowhere to go, but that is why I love my TammyFit app because it has so many at-home workouts you can do. It has been my go-to, particularly in the last 18 months."
