'Sweetest little baby girl': Tammy Hembrow shares exciting baby news

Aussie Instagram influencer Tammy Hembrow has shared the exciting news she has again become an aunty, after her sister Amy welcomed a baby girl this week.

The 25-year-old Gold Coast native shared a photo of herself and her newest niece Aurora to Instagram on Tuesday.

“So yesterday my big sis Amy gave birth to the sweetest little baby girl. Baby Aurora you are already so loved!!” she captioned the image of her holding the newborn wrapped in a blanket.

“I am in AWE of you Amy, you did it like a freaking BOSS!!! Completely natural just how you wanted. I’m so proud of you! Princess Aurora is absolutely perfect.”

While congratulations flooded in from her 11m followers, some also questioned the fact she was visiting a newborn baby during the current global health crisis and ongoing social distancing restrictions.

“Why aren’t you social distancing?” one person asked.

“This is awful and insensitive. Congrats for your sis but shouldn’t you be self isolating? The last thing a newborn needs is to catch something,” another said.

While a third shared, “Jealous! We had a baby three weeks ago in Canada and no one has been able to meet her yet because of social distancing.”

New mum Amy, who is the co-owner of sskin and co-founder of Tammy Fit, also shared the news on her own social media accounts.

“Not only the most difficult thing I’ve ever been through but also the most rewarding,” Amy wrote, sharing a black and white image of her in the during the natural water birth, with her fiancé and half-sister Starlette Thynne.

“Welcome to the world Aurora. Excited to share my birth story but for now I’m just taking in being a mum. Everything went really well and everyone is healthy.”

Amy was one of two Hembrow sisters expecting a child this year.

Back in December Tammy shared the news her older sister Amy was expecting on the new podcast she launched with her two sisters, Amy and Emilee.

“It’s my turn,” the newly engaged co-founder of Tammy Fit said, adding that she and her fiancé Rory Carmody were “trying then we stopped and then it happened”.

The parents-to-be - who have been together for several years - got engaged in June while on holiday in Japan.

Then just two months later the Hembrow sisters made another huge baby announcement revealing Emilee, and her husband are also expecting their third child together.

“BABY NUMBER 3 DUE IN AUGUST,” Emilee wrote on Instagram in February. “We are over the moon to be expecting a new addition to the family. I’ve always dreamed of having a big family & we are so thankful to be able to give the kids another sibling.”
