Taco Bell's Reported New Dessert Collab Is Like a Birthday Present for Churro Fans

While dessert might not be the first thing that comes to mind when people think of Taco Bell, the fast food chain is always coming up with sugary treats—from the Ice Cream Chocolate Taco to the Baja Blast Pie. Now there's a new option for Crunchwrap Supreme lovers with a craving for something sweet.

According to the Instagram account Living Más—described as a "Taco Bell community built by fans"—the restaurant is collaborating with Milk Bar to introduce birthday cake-themed churros in February.

"Dropping nationwide from 2/20 - 3/5 are Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros! These will be while supplies last so they could run out even before the end date. During this collab you will be able to purchase one Churro for $1.99 or a 2-pack for $2.99."

As Living Más noted, this isn't the first time Taco Bell has teamed up with Milk Bar; in August 2022, the two brands joined forces to release Strawberry Bell Truffles at select locations.

"Dessert is such garbage at fast food joints. But this looks way better than that trash empanada," somebody on Reddit pointed out, likely referencing Taco Bell's Caramel Apple Empanada.

While the Caramel Apple Empanada clearly wasn't a hit with everyone, a November 2024 review on Taste of Home was glowingly positive.

"We all deserve a world where these are readily available," the reviewer wrote.

"They’re deep-fried, like a proper fast-food hand pie should be...The dough has just the right thickness, so you get the best of both pie crust worlds: an exterior that’s an explosion of crispy flakes and an interior that’s melt-in-your-mouth tender."
