It’s time to return to the beach as a new season of CBS’s hit reality show Survivor returns for the 47th time. Host Jeff Probst welcomes 18 new castaways to the gorgeous sandy beaches of Fiji as they embark on the journey yet again to see who can outwit, outplay and outlast the others.
While the cast features a mix of participants from different backgrounds, fans might recognize one of them. Jon Lovett, the co-host of the popular "Pod Save America" podcast is one of the castaways this season.
Participants this season will face mental, physical and emotional challenges they look to outmaneuver and outwit each other to be the one to take home the $1 million prize. The new season of the competition show gets underway on Wednesday, September 18 at 8 p.m. and will air on CBS and stream on Paramount Plus.
