Surprising update in Crown Prince Frederik affair scandal
New details of the pair's alleged night together have been shared.
Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary were spotted putting on a united front earlier this week after Spanish magazine Lecturas shared photos of the future King of Denmark with Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova claiming the pair are having an affair.
The pictures showed Frederik and Genoveva attending a Pablo Picasso exhibition in Madrid last month.
Genoveva has slammed any reports of a romantic connection between herself and Frederik, telling Hola! she 'categorically' denies any suggestion that she and Frederik are romantically involved, saying the rumours are "malicious" and untrue. She also said that she is looking to take legal action.
However, Lecturas has shared new information about the pair's meeting, claiming Frederik and Genoveva went to her apartment building separately, both emerging separately two hours later before getting into the same car.

The pair had changed into evening wear during their time in the building.
They then drove to Spanish restaurant El Corral de la Moreria to watch flamenco dancers, with the performance ending at midnight, though Frederik and Genoveva stayed until 1am.
The pair exited in the same car, with the Crown Prince flying home to Denmark the following morning.
Genoveva Casanova issues statement
Genoveva's full statement reads: "I categorically deny the statements that suggest a romantic relationship between Prince Frederick and me.
"Any statement of this type not only completely lacks the truth but also misrepresents the facts in a malicious manner.
"This is already in the hands of my lawyers, who will take care of the pertinent steps to protect my right to honor, truth and privacy."
Hola! reports Frederik visited Spain to enjoy art exhibitions, watch flamenco dancers and visit new restaurants.
It comes after Genoveva reportedly begged the Spanish press early last month to "find me a boyfriend," Daily Mail reports.
"I’ve been alone now for nearly eight years," she reportedly admitted. "I have met people, but my number one demand at the moment, and it has been for a while now, is that there’s love - we really love each other.
"What you value most in life is that someone loves you."
She was previously married to author Cayetano Martinez de Irujo from 2005 to 2007, the pair maintain a friendly relationship and speak daily.
Genoveva has appeared on several TV shows in Spain, including The Masked Singer, Spanish Celebrity MasterChef and The Chase.

Mary gave nothing away with her expression, but photos did not show the pair engaging in much conversation together.
Frederik and Mary share four children and have been married since 2004.
